victor@vialy.com 9 Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 I had to reinstall my Emby server. Everything works now, The Opensubtitles plugin works perfectly doing manual searches. But can't find where can I manage automatic subtitle downloading. It is supposed to be on library setup, but it is not visible there.
Happy2Play 9784 Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 What client and server version? As it exists between Video Preview Thumbnails and Playback per library.

Then tried on localhost with chrome, and it showed up. So, I dont have problems now. But it is strange.
Happy2Play 9784 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Not sure as I currently don't have a Windows 7 system to test on but cannot replicate on Windows 10 remote browser session. Are there browser console errors when you navigate to that location in your remote connection?
victor@vialy.com 9 Posted February 25, 2022 Author Posted February 25, 2022 No. Everything looks as the screenshots I attached in the first post.
FrostByte 5392 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I believe H2P was talking about the browser console. In Edge you type CTRL+SHIFT+J to bring it up and show any errors.
victor@vialy.com 9 Posted February 26, 2022 Author Posted February 26, 2022 Oh. Sorry. Yes, there are errors in the console. Also, Automatic downloading is not working. Just manual. I attach the server log where I first tried to execute the task, and then I had to perform a manual subtitle search and download. embyserver.txt
Happy2Play 9784 Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Unrelated but looks like Windows 7 may be to dated as you have providers it can no authenticate with I am guessing do to dates Cipher suites or site is using suites that do not exist on Windows 7. (FanArt, MusicBrainz) Windows 7 is on its last legs when it comes to TLS as it has weak cyphers. System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: Authentication failed, see inner exception. But not sure on the original issue but am guessing related to Windows 7.
Luke 42085 Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Hi there, is Windows 7 fully up to date?
Happy2Play 9784 Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 OT: but the Emby musicbrainz server cipher issue is being looked into as Windows 7 only has WEAK ciphers that the server is not configured for. It is out of our control but the same applies to Assets.FanArt.tv. So, unless they change their cipher suites you can no longer get anything from FanArt.tv from a Windows 7 setup. Eventually as https restrictions change this OS will potentially stop working. Still not sure why library options would be visible locally but not remotely via http://app.emby.media.
Luke 42085 Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Hi, I'm not sure why the hosted web app is not showing the options for 4.6 servers, but it will all be resolved in the coming days when 4.7 is released. Thanks.
