How do I find my password

I was out of my local network today, and was using a different WiFi.   I was NOT able to login to my main Emby server (I was able to login to one of my other servers) it kept saying "invalid username or password", I tried all my user names and passwords.  I am positive that I was using the correct password.  

How can I find my password.  When I am home and on my home network, not issues logging in.  When at home and disable my WiFi and use cellular internet, same issue of can't log in.

This particular server has the main user (me) and another user..

Is this a direct connection or via Connect?

But passwords are not visible in Emby. Settings-Users-select User, Password

I can turn off my WiFi and connect to the cellular internet and do testing.  This used to work the last time I was away from home..

Tested this on my iPhone is iOS app on cellular data and had no issue with a direct connection to my server via ssl connection.

Have you setup SSL for remote access?

I don't know what SSL means. 

However, since my main sever could not connect, my backup server worked perfectly.  I just switched to the back up and watched live TV.

Also, I had no problems the last time I used the main server out of home network..

I have three servers running.  One is my main one using the beta.

  I have another one that I use for the stable server ( I use it for live and recorded TV because the beta server has NO closed captions).

I have the third server as a secondary beta server, and that is the one that worked while I was out of local network.

I tried with both usernames, user credentials AND Emby Connect......   Neither worked.......  BUT, this server has an additional user, don't know if that makes a difference.

On the local server sign in screen, you can only use credentials for a user on your server. That's not an Emby Connect login screen.

On the Emby Connect login screen, you can only use Emby Connect credentials. The vast majority of password trouble we see is simply just confusion between the two methods.

Yes, it is very confusing.

Right now, I am testing using cellular internet.

1. Sign in with Emby Connect screen

2. I type in my Emby connect username.

3. I type in my Emby Connect password.

4. click sign in

5. Went back to the screen that shows "Select Server".

You are properly logging in with Connect as you are getting to select server.  From select server you would potentially need your local username and password when you select a server.

You can try unlinking then relinking your Connect user from your local user.

This time I enabled my home WiFi and retested using Emby Connect.  I typed in my Emby Connect user name and password.  It then logged me in with that information.  

Why does it work locally but not out of local network using Emby Connect.  Again, I can access another server, but not my main server that has one more user on the account.

From the image above you clear the optional Connect username, hit save, then readd it and hit save.

Can you post some pics, I still don't understand how to clear the Connect user name..........  From my phone?  Website??

Your pic shows it, you scratch it out.  Remove, save, readd, save.
