MPEG2 - Amazon Fire Stick Max

Has anyone experienced very juddery (like ghost trails on fast motion with sticking frames) playback on MPEG2 stuff on Amazon Fire TV Max Stick when using PAL 50hz interlaced content?

Interlaced MP4 or progressive MP4 at higher bit rates is fine.

I've got 'deinterlace' options turned off in Emby Android settings as Tv should do it (and yes, I've tried ON as well). It's DirectPlay, 6mbps 192kbps Dolby AC3 using inbuilt player no external.

My content has been ripped from my own DVDs over 15+ years and works on everything else fine such as other Emby players, WMC, VLC, MPC etc.

Not an option for me to bulk change from MP2 to MP4 either. There is a reason why they are MP2 for now.

I got a feeling this is an Amazon Fire OS issue as they used to have this bug and then eventually fixes it on older sticks.

If it is direct playing, then yes.
