JacquesSullivan 4 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Hello and thank you very much for this new version 1.035. I tested it and I can say that now the media buttons work again (play, stop, pause, forward, backward). I asked the opinion of the 3 other members of the family on the new visual of the app. In fact, the visual is very close to that of "emby theater". There are 2 suggestions that we would like to propose (2 points which are present in "emby theater" and not on the app) : - the end time information is no longer present, however we find it useful. - wouldn't it be better to move up the description of the video, rather than centering it vertically? I'm attaching 2 images to show what I'm talking about (one printscreen of emby theater, and one photo of the app on my tv). Thank you again for this great app. (Excuse me for my bad english, my native language is french) 2

I agree, a SMALL gap is OK to see more of the background but its too big and results in more scrolling.
Luke 42077 Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 I would say we are probably trending in the direction of keeping the details towards the bottom so that we can bring out the artwork more.
JacquesSullivan 4 Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Thank you for the answer, Luke. The position of the details is therefore an artistic choice ; I can understand it. And concerning the information of the "end time", do you think to add it or not ? It's practical, it avoids having to calculate yourself. And it doesn't take up much space... . I would position it after the indication of the remaining time, in parentheses (as in the image of my previous message).

The problem is that line you're suggesting only shows up when there's a resume point. Essentially it's just getting difficult to make space for it, but eventually when we drop the poster on the left that will help.
Luke 42077 Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Emby for LG TV's 1.0.37 has been released. Stay tuned to the blog for the release announcement. Can you please try out the new update and let us know how it compares? Thanks !
JacquesSullivan 4 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Hello, here is the only problem I noticed with v1.0.37 LG: During a search, it is no longer possible to type a movie name with my keyboard (it worked very well with the old version): no characters are displayed. Other keyboard functions work (mouse movement, clicks). Two remarks: - We no longer see the poster of the film or the series on its page (maybe it's wanted?) - The selection frame being white, it cannot be seen on posters with a white background (which is not uncommon). I saw that when you resume a video, the end time is indicated. Thank you for this function which had disappeared in the previous version
Luke 42077 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Quote We no longer see the poster of the film or the series on its page (maybe it's wanted?) Hi, yes this is part of the updated design, but options to control this will be coming. We'll look at search. Thanks for the feedback.
