Google Drive [Premiere]

I've just bought Emby premiere and I am just setting up the Google drive plugin. I have content on Google drive which is not stored on my Emby server, so I was wondering if it is possible to use the drive plugin to access that content via Emby, without downloading it to my server?

I've managed to add Google drive and can see my account detected, but that's about it. There is a good chance I've probably completely misunderstood the real reason for the Google Drive plugin.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi.  To do this you will want to use something like Rclone to mount the Gdrive as local storage and then point Emby to that.  No plug-in is needed.  The plug-in is just intended as a sort of backup solution to sync content offsite.

Thanks for the swift reply. I've clearly misunderstood the Google Drive plugin haha. 

 

Will give RCLONE a go once I've sorted out the live TV.
