clessy 12 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Hi everyone, I've been using Emby on a Sony A8 since 4 weeks. For this I use the latest version of Emby for Android TV. If I select the overview of a library, all the films it contains are displayed to me. But then I only see the posters. But I miss the film titles under the posters. They were shown to me on Plex. Can I also set this in the Emby TV app? Since it works on the Emby Server (Synology), I have hope that it should also work in the app. Many Thanks.
seanbuff 1316 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 On the movies page with all the posters, far right you should see a row of vertical icons. Try clicking the last one which looks like "..." Ensure you have 'Show Labels' checked. 1
ebr 16184 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Hi. Yes, the above is correct. Please let us know if this answers your question. Thanks.
clessy 12 Posted February 12, 2022 Author Posted February 12, 2022 Yes, that is the solution. It is named with series label. So I didn't think it was right for the movies section. Many Thanks.

clessy 12 Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 Please see attachment. It is in German "Serien-Label". But i look at "Movies" Section.
ebr 16184 Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Okay, that is a problem with the German translation. The item is labelled "Show Labels" in English and it looks like the translator interpreted that to mean "TV Show" instead of the verb "to show". What would be a proper German translation for that? Thanks.
clessy 12 Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 So for the series section the translation is fine. For the films section you should use: "Filme-Label". Thanks.

Sorry, that isn't the intent of that label. It is to read "Show Labels". As in a verb of "to show" or "not to show". Nothing to do with the type of content. I guess another way of saying it would be "Display Labels". Thanks.
clessy 12 Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 Ok, i understand. Then the general translation is: "Zeige Label". Thanks. 1
