JERRY1 17 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I want to connect a hard drive to my router so my friend downstairs and i can both watch movies without the htpc being on. What do i need to accomplish this setup. Will be using roku3 on my end. Thanks in advance.

Luke 42078 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 it doesn't need to be on 24/7. Our roku app supports wake on lan. it can wake up the machine that runs Media Browser Server when you start the app. then when you're done and it idles the machine can go back to sleep.
