AxeMan 25 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 It'd be great if there was an option to scheduled tasks to delay the task if there's something playing? Or maybe specify # of active streams/plays that would cause the task to delay or pause. Failing that - even if there could be a manual option in the scheduled tasks section - instead of a Stop button, replace that with a "Pause" with a timer. Also - when a scheduled task is running, can we see what exactly it's working on? It'd be nice if you can go to scheduled tasks, and see the current media it's working on. Underneath the progress bar. something like "TV Series: This Cool Show S01E02.mkv"
AxeMan 25 Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 Subtitle Metadata section has a "Require Hash Match" option. It'd be great if Emby can save that hash and re-use that hash during the search. Not sure if I'm wrong - but it seems like Emby currently scans each file each time. My specific use case is for Rclone mapped drives - where I see lots of activity on my cache during the Subtitle scheduled task. Not sure if this should be a separate topic...
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Hi, yes these are both good ideas that are certainly possible. Thanks. 1
