M3U Question

I currently have an iptv subscription which allows 5 devices. I may need to expand how many views up to 10.

However, if I subscribe twice to a service how does Emby handle duplicate channels? Meaning it will be the exact same line up.

it doesnt really. you'd have to have two entries for each channel. one for each sub

And the EPG entries (ID's anyway) I believe would need to be different or Emby will consider them duplicates and not include the 2nd providers channel.  But maybe @cayars could fact check me on that :)

Dupes are removed from a single m3u file but I don't think it's a problem loading channels from another m3u.
I know in testing I've had multiple USA, FOX, CBS, etc this way.

You can't tell what the ID is from a picture but would need to look at the m3u file itself.
