MrDuck 0 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 (edited) Hi, I'm trying to get Emby up and running with Kubernetes using a Samba share as storage. The issue I seem to be having is for whatever reason, Emby doesn't think it has permissions on the share. I've attached the error log emby-server-b58bbc97d-hw56p.log (db is busy), as well as my deployment yaml deployment_used.yml. I've tried to debug the pod a bit by adding a sleep 30000 command to the container. /config # ls -l total 0 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 config drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 data drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 logs drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 plugins /config # ls -n total 0 drwxrwxrwx 2 0 0 0 Feb 6 07:24 config drwxrwxrwx 2 0 0 0 Feb 6 07:24 data drwxrwxrwx 2 0 0 0 Feb 6 07:24 logs drwxrwxrwx 2 0 0 0 Feb 6 07:24 plugins /config # mkdir test /config # ls -l total 0 drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 config drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 data drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 logs drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:24 plugins drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Feb 6 07:29 test /config # FYI the error persists even after deleting all of /config on the share. From what I can tell, I have full rw permissions of the share inside of the pod itself. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks! Edited February 6, 2022 by MrDuck
MrDuck 0 Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 I changed the config share to nfs, and it seems to be working fine.
