xrqp 11 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 At the instructions here: Emby TV Naming : Emby It says: For a simple TV folder structure, the recommended folder layout is Series (year)\Season #\Episode or Series (year)\Episode Then it gives example: \TV \Glee (2009) \Season 1 Glee S01E01.mp4 Glee S01E02.mp4 So it seems to not use the part i put in red. None of the examples use the part in red. Some clarification or correction is needed? Thanks.
GrimReaper 4744 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I think you are misreading that, those are 2 (two) recommended folder layouts: 1. Series (year)\Season #\Episode 2. Series (year)\Episode and both have an example underneath. Maybe it would be more clear if it was written like: Quote For a simple TV folder structure, the recommended folder layout is Series (year)\Season #\Episode or Series (year)\Episode. or Quote For a simple TV folder structure, the recommended folder layout is "Series (year)\Season #\Episode" or "Series (year)\Episode". or Quote For a simple TV folder structure, the recommended folder layout is Series (year)\Season #\Episode or Series (year)\Episode.
xrqp 11 Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Now I understand. Thanks for clarifying. The way you wrote it made it easier to understand. 1
ebr 16185 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 @cayars can you please see if you can make that more clear? Thanks.
Carlo 4561 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I changed the wording in the first section to make this more clear. 1
xrqp 11 Posted February 12, 2022 Author Posted February 12, 2022 You took away the option for Series (year)\Episode. So it is clear. I like having a Season folder.
