jriker1 20 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 I noticed recently that the Android TV Client defaulted to delete show or series rather than the cancel button. Is there a way to change this logic? I like this concept with the show, but not the series. Family member deleted a whole set of shows as the family has never understood how to drill into each individual show vs hitting play at the top level if that makes sense. JR
ebr 16184 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Hi. There is an additional confirmation and warning that the entire series will be deleted when you press that button. I would suggest removing the delete permissions from anyone you think will not understand or ignore that.

As mentioned even though I like it for an episode, overall that destructive action is bad. In this day and age, how many people pause to read prompts? Plus you can't remove delete ability because someone might delete more than they should. Was the logic my mom logs in with her account and can't delete and then if she watches something I go in separately with my account and delete it? Or she tells me she finished a show and I delete it off the hard drive?
ebr 16184 Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 We will look at making the default the cancel button. Honestly, I thought it already was... 1 1
