Automatically resume movie

Hello.  Is it possible to have the movie start right after selecting continue watching?

@Luke It only automatically resumes in the Android TV app, because you can press play from continue watching. None of the other apps, that I'm aware of resume right away. You have to click resume after getting to the detail page. On the windows/Xbox app we need the Play button on the remote to be activated so we can play immediately from continue watching.

The Xbox is probably the easiest example. Pressing the Play button on the remote doesn't do anything when watching on Xbox. 

On Android TV however, if I press Play on the remote it automatically resumes the selected video.

I don't know what is needed to get it to work, so when I say "activated" I just mean "make it work". Maybe that's just a mapping or something, I'm not really sure.

It works on the Samsung app (clicking play).  So, the OP may need to be specific on which app they are using.

Also, is the OP clicking Play, or are they "selecting" the item as they said in their post?  Selecting an item will bring up the details.

Agree, clicking Play on continue watching with the remote does NOT work on Xbox 1.1.400 like it does on other apps.  It does nothing and there is no Play equivalent on the controller.  Hopefully, this can be added either in this app or the new Xbox app which is coming soon hopefully
