Using MB3 DLNA some .avi files are just images

Hi!

 

Loving all the changes and improvements for MB3, I use it daily on Android, PC and now DLNA on my LG SmartTV and (recently) Xbox One!

 

One issue that I have that's making me hang onto a Plex server as well is that some of my files are just displaying images when I try to play them, only on MB3 and only on DLNA. If I use MB3 server or apps they work fine and if I use Plex DLNA it also works fine. Very strange issue, but a frustrating one as I'd love to use MB3 exclusively.

 

Is this a common issue or something that I can adjust with settings? Let me know if more information is needed, I can get exact file information if needed.

I just got an an LG TV and experience the same problem with just images showing up and not the video but for mkv. I installed Plex and all the videos showed up fine. Either way I am not a fan of DLNA so did not care too much. I would like to see an app but developers are needed.
