Concert Information for Artists/Bands

A feature I would like to see is to show local concert information for artists and bands.  I was poking around the SeatGeek API (which is free, though I'm not sure what its limits are), and it seems pretty simple and straightforward.  You can query for events for a performer and use geolocation to show nearby events for them.

I brought this up primarily because sites/apps like Bandsintown and Songkick don't provide a way for me to import my list of artists.  Like you, I seem to remember software that offered this sort of integration.  If you're looking for a financial incentive to make a plugin (or integrate this into core), SeatGeek does offer commissions for developers that implement this API and join their partner program.
