sebeksd 0 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 To connect to self hosted server you need to provide IP/domain name and port. When I do this and press "OK" nothing happens (no error, nothing), app goes back to previous screen (with pin value). I'm using Tizen app on my Samsung TV and there was no issue (I was updating app on the TV like 2-3 days ago and providing server address without a problem). I'm also using Emby on PC from browser without issues. My serwer address look something like this: https://emby.mydomain.my and port is: 80 I'm using Android TV for the first time (just bough Xiaomi Mi Box S), Netflix, Google Play are working fine. Device is updated. For https I'm using Traefik + LetsEncrypt (docker container https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/swag). Maybe app/android do not like private cert?

sebeksd 0 Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Thank you, will try later today As a side note, it would be nice If some error was shown instead of no reaction. Writing so long strings on remote is not "easy" and when you don't know what is wrong you trying again and again which is so frustrating
ebr 16184 Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Hi. When it comes to security issues, typically, you don't try to give a lot of hints as to exactly what the person trying to access insecurely is doing wrong but, yes, a bit more detail may be warranted.
sebeksd 0 Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Beta version is working fine Thank you.
