horstepipe 422 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Hello some user started a series recording. now I’m getting more and more records of that sports show. I’m pretty sure that this was an accident, so I’d like to ask the user whether he really really needs these recordings. But how can I see who is responsible? 1
Luke 42077 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Hi, there is currently no way, although it's probably a good idea to display this info. But you can control who can create recordings via user permissions. 2 1

horstepipe 422 Posted February 1, 2022 Author Posted February 1, 2022 Additionally, it would be nice to have two restrictions: - create recordings and - create series recordings 1 1
jeramie 0 Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 is there still no way to see who requested a series be DVR'd? Also, do admins have any ability to edit a dvr'd series that another user added?
Scott D 69 Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 I had a similar situation not long ago. There was no way to determine who had scheduled the recording. If the admin has set their own privileges to allow for Live TV Recording management, they can do everything to modify the recording. Cancel, etc. I agree, it would be nice to have something in the log file to indicate a recording has been scheduled by ???, but seems that is fairly far down the list of things to add.
jeramie 0 Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Huh, I have the dvr management rights checked for my user but I must be blind i'm not seeing where i can change a recording schedule or even view them. I've looked in My Media/Recordings as well as My Media/Live TV/Recordings and ./Schedule is completely blank

Luke 42077 Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 Hi, I don't have an update yet although I agree that this is a good idea to add. Thanks.
horstepipe 422 Posted September 20, 2025 Author Posted September 20, 2025 as you are currently working on live tv anyway, this seems to be a good time frame to add 1
bandit8623 213 Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Hello, When will this be added? i have a few family members that seem to be accidentally recording shows and ide like tol be able to tell them, but there seems to be no way to see whos recording content.

Luke 42077 Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Hi, no eta but I agree it would be a nice thing to add.
