Turbofiero 5 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Just had this really wacky issue, where, even with all users having the same audio settings, my account would use the default audio track anyways (wrong language) I figure this is because I first played the movie, noticed emby was defaulting to foreign language, then had to go log into every single Emby account on my server to set everyone's settings to English (this really needs to become a global or default setting.) What I did to fix was, mark the movie played -> unplayed, then deleted the cache folder, and reboot. Then went back to user playback settings, checked the box for "Play default audio track regardless of language", then click on any other setting (ex. subtitles) to get it to save the config, then went back again and uncheck the box, clicked on any other setting again to get it to save the config, and it began defaulting to English again Hope this helps someone!
Luke 42083 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Hi, the watch status and cache folders don't have anything to do with it. Unchecking the box to force the default audio track would have an impact though. 1
Turbofiero 5 Posted January 30, 2022 Author Posted January 30, 2022 True enough, good to know, must have just been the numerous reboots + ticking the box back and forth a few times (while clicking off that settings page to force it to save the config) Nonetheless drove me in circles for over an hour and i couldn't find much for results from google haha 1
