Javi22 1 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) Hello everyone, first of all forgive me for the English, I am Spanish and I use deepl as a translator. I am writing to know why the images of the actors, some appear and others don't appear. I use tinymediamanager and emby server in w10 pro, I leave an image for you to see it. https://ibb.co/qC6skFs Edited January 27, 2022 by Javi22

I just realized that the images in the .actors folder do not match the one that appears in emby. Look at the actor Ty Olsson. They are different. https://ibb.co/LxN1y5v https://ibb.co/qC6skFs https://ibb.co/Mfph2ym

Emby does not read .actors folder. Up to 4.5.4.0 there was community plugin which would enable usage of local actor folders, however it has not been updated for 4.6+ as plugin dev's interests currently lie elsewhere. 2 minutes ago, Javi22 said: I refresh the metadata and it does not have a cover. What scrapers/fetchers you have enabled in your Library settings?

Javi22 1 Posted January 27, 2022 Author Posted January 27, 2022 what would be the best way to share tinymediamanager and emby?

Currently we're at @pünktchen's mercy and his inclination to update plugin, as actor images are the only outstanding item between the two. For the moment, beside manually refreshing - there ain't one. Edit: Are you building a new server? If you don't mind starting from scratch, there is a bit of a longish workaround. Perhaps it will start again, since after doing several tests, emby recognizes the titles wrong for me. My idea was not to have to delete one by one all the nfo and the images already downloaded, but it seems that it would be the best.
Javi22 1 Posted January 27, 2022 Author Posted January 27, 2022 Sorry again. Refresh manually? You mean refresh metadata?

Why would you delete anything? Last few years my servers are strictly TMM-created NFOs/artwork driven and have no issues. Local .actors images are ignored anyway, though over time I did already import majority of them and have a large people with images base, 100,000+, so every now and then refreshing an actor or two is bearable - though I would prefer to have that automated, as well. 6 minutes ago, Javi22 said: Refresh manually? You mean refresh metadata? Yep, you can do it on any actor individually as well, or at Movie/TV show level, depending on your setup.

It's that my refreshing metadata doesn't appear either, maybe it's errors from so many tests I'm doing. https://ibb.co/qC6skFs

Luke 42083 Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 What series and episode metadata fetchers do you have enabled in your TV library settings?
