I want to turn off automatic scan of library files

I want to turn off automatic scanning of library files. It works itself every night. Even though I've pressed pause every time before bed

It keeps the Google Drive linked files stuck in the quota every time I forget to turn off scanning.

Not sure what you are calling automatic scan.

There is a Real Time Monitoring option per library you can disable.  This will prevent items from being added/update via Real Time Monitoring.

And you can disable/delete the Schedule task trigger that runs every 12 hours by clicking on the task in Settings-Scheduled Tasks.  But doing this will require you to do manual scans.

Okay, I set the library scan to stop every 12 hours.
