lowenbrau 0 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Hi, When attempt to view the Live TV Guide in the Emby app, I only see a "Loading" message on the screen and the actual guide is never shown. I have recreated this issue on two Nvidia Shield media players that I own. Each media player behaves differently in this situation. When recreating the issue on the Nvidia Shield with the older version of the O/S, the app will eventually return to the main screen after failing to load the guide. When doing the same on the media player with the newer version of the O/S, the app will not return to the main screen and will continue to display "Loading". This issue is only happening with the Emby app on an Nvidia Shield. It is not happening when using the web client or other Emby apps on a Mac or Windows 10. I am using Emby app version 2.0.48g and Emby Server 4.6.7.0 on Windows 10. I have enclosed a number of photos and a log file for everyone's review. Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. embyserver.txt

lowenbrau 0 Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 Hi, I just recreated the issue and sent the log from the app about four minutes ago (12:42 EST). The name of the logged-in user at the time was "nlowe". Thanks.
ebr 16184 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Looks like it may be some sort of memory issue. How many channels do you have and what else is running on the device at the time?
lowenbrau 0 Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 There are a number of channels that I am in the midst of reducing. My provider said the process will take 48 hours. I however wonder if that is the problem because I have 1GB of free RAM and 5GB of storage space. This media player I am using for this test is an Nvidia Shield Pro.

I installed the standard Android app on both devices (SHIELD TV and SHIELD TV Pro) and the guide displayed successfully. The issue is now confirmed to be the Android TV version of the Emby app. When can we expect it to be fixed and a new version offered for download?
