Library Sharing

My brother and I want to share our libraries with each other but I have forgotten how. Can someone give me a rundown on how? Thanks!

What exactly do you mean by share your libraries with each other?

Are you referring to setting him up as a normal user so he can use your system vice versa?
Or do you mean share folder across the internet, so you can add his files to your server and vice versa?

Share folder access so I could see his movies and he can see mine for instance sort of like combining our libraries together. Sorry my memory is fuzzy on this and might got this mixed up with a Plex feature. Apologize if that is the case.

It is. No such feature was ever supported/implemented in Emby. Existing open FR for same, lend your support there:

Still don't understand the request here completely.  Is there one server or do each of you have a server?

If one server then you would attach each person's movie folder to a Movie library.

2  separate servers shared. My brother has his own server as do I and wanted to combine/share each other's libraries. Plex has had this feature for years.

Hi, simply create a new user on your server, then send your brother info on how to connect to your server. He can then do the same for you.

I assume they have already given each other permissions to logon and see each other's libraries which requires you to log off and log back on to the other server.  The OP mentioned 'combine' though in his second post which would allow them to see each other's stuff w/o jumping back and forth.
