can not resume or fast forward or rewind

Hello

I noticed that playing some movies I can not FF or RW. If I stop playing then resume the movie restart from beginning.

THis happens only playing on my Android TV boxes, while on a Windows PC it works, of course with the very same movie.

Any suggestion?

Hi.  Try refreshing metadata on those items and see if that helps.  If not, please show the media info for one of them.

I did it and no improvement.

Anyway this problem is happening on the Nvidia Shield Android TV. It is perfect on the PC and on Android smartphone

In the meanwhile, I tested another Android TV (the Xiaomi Mi Box S) and here it works fine, so... at the moment it does not works on the nVidia Shield TV.

Sorry for the delay, but was away.

I tested right now... sideloaded the standard android app and it works.

So... at the end of the story... on the nVidia Shield using Emby for Android TV it does not work, but with the standard app on the same Shield... it works.

Can you please play something and then try to ff or rewind just once - recreating the issue and then immediately  follow the instructions to send a log from the app?

I solved the issue in the meanwhile: i compared the Emby version running on the Shield to the one running on the Xiomi and the one on the Shield was quite outdated.

I did not notices before... sorry... so I removed the old one and installed the one available on the Play Store.

Now it works... FF, RW, resume, etc.
