Przemek 70 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Hello, I install Emby beta repository on Kodi for Debian 19.3 (OS: Dietpi on Raspberry Pi 4). Then I install Emby-next-gen ver. 6.2.5 and Embuary skin. When I use that, not even play video, just clicking and looking New Movies in cinemas my Kodi crashes and shut down to console. I attach log here. I try also watch movie, it starts but stop after a second. Can I fix that or must switch to stable? Regards, Przemek kodi_crashlog-20220120_131602.log
quickmic 1703 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 This is most likely not a beta issue. Sounds like an Kodi problem. You have huge load of error msgs: 2022-01-20 13:12:50.432 T:871 ERROR <general>: ActiveAE::InitSink - returned error 2022-01-20 13:12:50.932 T:872 INFO <general>: CActiveAESink::OpenSink - initialize sink 2022-01-20 13:12:50.933 T:872 ERROR <general>: CActiveAESink::OpenSink - no sink was returned Yes, I don't even find the playback started records in you log. Try disable Embuary, probably also try stock Kodi with just Emby-next-gen. If this is a Kodi (only) box, probably osmc or libreelec is the better solution for you.
Przemek 70 Posted January 20, 2022 Author Posted January 20, 2022 Yes, admin can delete that topic. Kodi on Dietpi is shi..t. I try before on MiniPC, now on Rpi4. I will move my other app to Rpi3 and on that Rpi4 I will install Libreelec. Regards. 1
