minelli 0 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Good afternoon, I am emby premium and I have a problem with my emby. After running out of disk space my user admin lost admin permissions. Now when logo by user admin I only have access as a normal user. Even clicking on settings it just opens the menu as a normal user. I've already tried resetting the password but that didn't make it an admin user again. How should I proceed to solve it because I have a lot of customers, movies, series and channels registered and I can't lose them or re-register them.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Yes this has been reported a few times now. When the server runs out of free space admin user loose full access. How much space do you have, can you provide more? Is there content in the transcode-temp that can be cleaned up?
minelli 0 Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Good afternoon, yes I cleared all logs, temporary and added 4G of space. But I still don't have user admin permission. Do you have any sql to run via sqlite3 to solve the problem? Do you want me to send the .db to support?

minelli 0 Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Yes, I already restarted everything normal, everything runs normally the only problem is the admin without admin permission and without access to the admin panel.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 All users that have had this issue do to free space just had to create free space. Only other thing is verifying your user policy.xml <IsAdministrator> setting. On your platform you will need to go to Emby data path, config-users-your userid You can get your userid by logging in to Emby and select your usericon-display, you will see your userid in the url. Then go to that folder example on Windows C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\config\users\xxxxxxc2dbde454494c3395415xxxxxx
minelli 0 Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Good night, my server runs on linux but it worked I was able to restore the admin user as administrator. For documentation: /var/lib/emby/config/users Thanks a lot for the help and information.
