Flatpak Setup

Hi all 

I'm trying to install the Flatpak bundle (https://emby.media/flatpak-server.html), does the command flatpak install emby-server-flatpak_4.6.7.0_x86_64.tar.xz work for you?

Correct, that's what I did:

~/Downloads ❯ flatpak --user install emby-server-flatpak_4.6.7.0_x86_64.tar.xz                                         
Looking for matches…
error: No remote refs found similar to ‘emby-server-flatpak_4.6.7.0_x86_64.tar.xz’

I'm myself kind of new to Flatpak so I could be awfully wrong here, but my understanding is that in order to install a Flatpak using a local file, it has to be either a `.flatpakref` (which contains and configures the remote data), or a bundle.

Hi @tinchox, the package is actually meant for FlatHub and is just a tarball. We should however soon be publishing to FlatHub and the install instructions will be updated accordingly.
