Why is this **** so ******* difficult.  Nothing bloody works. All im trying to do is setup remote access to my server for a friend so they can steam and download files from my server.

I download  Emby connect to test it out and setup using my own email. I linked it and tried downloading the software for Win 10. It just hangs (Downloading Emby version 4.0)

Can find  SINGLE ******* user guide anywhere. Annoying af

Didnt help

I added the email address in new user and opened EMBY via the launcher on my desktop. This opens a webbrowser and I add the password to gain entry.

On the home page the screen is blank, none of my folders are showing, nothing is being shared

I would have to ask what you downloaded as there is no Emby Connect app/client.  Connect is your online username that you can attach to a local user allowing easier remote access but is not required.

Did you even give the user access to the library in the first place?  Did you even create a library?  It sounds like you're expecting this to magically figure out what you want and are blaming the devs because you did nothing and you're all out of ideas.  First you need to create a library, which is the directories that you want to share.  Then you need to add the user to your server, and grant them access to those libraries.

I downloaded Emby 4.6 to desktop and signed in with a different email.

I added this new email as a user in my main Emby which is on my Seedbox server which I access through web browser. I then downloaded Emby software and logged in using the new email. When I opened the library nothing was showing.

I am confused.

(Optional) Emby Connect username or email address:

Optionally link this local user to an existing Emby Connect account to enable easy sign-in access from any Emby app without having to know the server IP address.

When I add the email here why cant I see my shared library

It sounds to me like you have installed 2 instances of Emby Server and are trying to use them to sign in to each other, that's not how Emby works.

I suggest you follow the Quick Start guide and start again from scratch.
https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159034-quick-start

Create some libraries
https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159319

Then try logging in with a local user and validate you can see the libraries you created above.

Once that is done, then you can try adding remote connectivity to your seedbox
