Homepage - Latest File sorts - Library type TV - Add date change fails

For library types Movies or Music Videos - You can edit Card - Metadata - Date added -  and this will change the sort order in the Latest list on the home page.

This doesn't work for TV Shows library type.  Clearing browser cache, refreshing the library, Scan all Libraries, restarting the server does not fix this. Admin / Library  / Advanced / Date added behavior for new content: switch to 'Use file creation date' and then back to 'Use date scanned into library', clearing all cache and rescaning the library also has no effect.  Resetting all file dates for folders and files in a library media folder for one card, also has no effect.

It looks like the code to sort TV Shows / ibrary types is broken.  Does this happen on your test servers?  I think it's maybe an obscure edge case situation that missed getting a bug ticket.

Sorry I don't quite follow TV is sorted by Last Episode added not Series added date.

Aha, Thank you both for that clarification.  It does make sense.  This is resolved as not an issue.
