Not true.  I use a reverse proxy and this works very well for remote playback through my iPhone, PCs, and on my Rokus.  Used to work just fine as well on the Direct TV Streaming box version of the Emby app.  Not anymore.

Hi.  It is true.  The Android TV app has always required either an unlock or Premiere.  Does that box have access to the Google Play Store?  Have you tried using the "Restore Unlock" button?
