ebr 16176 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Hi. There are no errors. It looks like you backed out of the playback attempt after only about 5-8 seconds. Have you tried waiting a little longer for it to start? Do you use CloudFlare by any chance?
WalNet76 2 Posted January 14, 2022 Author Posted January 14, 2022 I don't have cloudfare, not sure what that is. Just running off my local Qnap. I have tried many times waiting for minutes. Can you reproduce if I give you access to my server using android tv?

That would be across a remote connection, not on your local LAN so not a very good test. Can you try playing it again, wait for a full 2 minutes and then send the log directly from the playback OSD (if available).

ebr 16176 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Hi. Do you access your server using DLNA? If not, can you try turning off the DLNA feature in the server? Not sure it will impact this but there are DLNA requests happening right in the middle of this playback operation.
WalNet76 2 Posted January 14, 2022 Author Posted January 14, 2022 DLNA Media Server is disabled. To manage content source folders, go to Control Panel > Application > DLNA Media Server and enable DLNA Media Server. It was already disabled

ebr 16176 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Can you try side-loading this app and see if it has the same issue?
jch 2 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I notice a recent change in Emby playback on my Direct TV Streaming box as well. I can no longer play videos. They're stored locally on my network (NAS) and while Emby used to run on the DTV Streaming app, and Plex continues to work properly, I now get a message that I must sign up for Emby service to play videos. It will access my NAS where files are stored, will list and allow me to select the video to play, but then when I start to play, it gives me the pop-up. Running Emby on Roku still performs very well, just the app on the DTV Streaming box.
WalNet76 2 Posted January 29, 2022 Author Posted January 29, 2022 I don’t know how to side load and the dtv usb is disabled. If I use Sonarr everything is fine. Just Emby recording then MCE buddy does t work
