Live TV "On Now" customization/removal?

On the "Live TV" display for the homescreen.  Is there any way to get rid of the "On Now"?   I mean it's full of crap I could care less about.

Ideally I'd rather keep it, but restrict it to favorite channels.

Hi, you'd have to just remove the Live TV row from the home screen altogether. But if you sort the guide in a certain way, On Now will use the same order, so that can help you put your favorites at the top.

If it's crap you could care less about and on channels you do not want you can delete the channel in LiveTV Settings or you can hide the channels in the HDHomeRun channel set up if using an HDHomeRun.

Another option is to mark channels you do regularly watch as "Favorites" in Emby as they will show first in the strip.

I mean not really.   We will sometimes watch stuff on HGTV...but I dont care to always see which home improvement show is currently live.    I watch cable news channels...so I want them in my guide...but I don't care which "news show" is currently on...etc

The favorites sounds promising, let me try that!

every time i come to the forms to find a solution its someone from years ago asking the same thing I'm about to ask and I'm stuck with the same problem lol, damn oh well.
