Not sure what background you are looking for, but every 12 hours it looks for a tv series that does not have a theme.mp3 file, and looks for one.  If it finds one, it puts it in the location Emby wants it.

I know this is an old post but I’m looking to open download theme music and videos but can’t find this app in the catalog anymore

It is not in the catalog.  You get the latest release DLL and install it yourself.
