snader 1 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Hi there. I have a rapsberry Pi 3b configured with dietPi and Emby. It all runs smoothly. My films and TVshows are on my Synology NAS which I have always used with Kodi on a ShieldTV to stream from. Since I have more TV's in the house, I ended up trying Emby as my Media server. I have added these two shares succesfully: \\192.168.1.55\Films\ \\192.168.1.55\Series\ That was easy and are the same shares used for all devices in my house to get access to the films and series without any problem. The Emby server also doens't complain, but scanning these shares seems to be a problem, since the scanning keeps halting at 14,3%. Last day I ran it for 48 hours. I have no clue what to do.. if someone can have a look at my logs then thank you! embyserver.txt hardware_detection-63777499221.txt
Luke 42078 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Hi, what you could try to do, that will likely perform better, instead of adding the SMB network locations directly to Emby Server, try mounting those to local paths in the OS first. Then add the local paths to Emby Server instead. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks. 1
