At the top of the download page there is a link to all the processors labeled "architecture of your Synology NAS". Search that page and you should find that your 220J is an armv8 process. Also, are you on DSM 7 or 6? You downloaded a file for DSM 7
Beecon 12 Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 Alright let me get sorted out. Thanks for the response. (I am on DSM 7.) 1
Beecon 12 Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 OK, its updating. All is well. Stupido me about the arm8. 2
Beecon 12 Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 (edited) Edited January 8, 2022 by Beecon sorry wrong thread, got mixed up
Beecon 12 Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 It has updated. Now figuring out the SSL thing. I need some more time for that... Ae you working on he auto update selection function? That would really be sweet, and close the manual update activity once and for all.
Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 What do you mean by auto update selection function?
Beecon 12 Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 Hi Luke, I was referring to the feature in the package center 8n DWM 7 it’s under settings>auto update > select packages etc. That’s where Emby is greyed out, as it doesn’t support this (true?) screen shot is here:
Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 That's probably due to the sideloaded installation. I'm guessing that just won't auto-update to the Package Center version when the time comes.
Beecon 12 Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 Sideloaded is not a term I am familiar with… Is there a way to load the emby package so that it’s ‘frontloaded’ or whatever so that auto update works? Just want to install and forget…
