preedy 1 Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 (edited) I am running a freenas emby server, I use window machines and android phones to connect to the server. I have a Windows pc connected to my whole house stereo system. In the past before android 4.6.4 update i was able to connect to the pc via emby app andriod and control music, pick play lists skip songs. Now I can connect to pc running emby web. via android app as before but i can not skip songs or pick song via app. When I pick a song via phone app it breing a dialog screen up on pc asking "after this plays, do you want to keep playing or clear the music you previously queued? Is there a setting i can change? Edited January 7, 2022 by preedy
Luke 42086 Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Hi @preedy did you try just choosing one of the options in the dialog?
preedy 1 Posted January 7, 2022 Author Posted January 7, 2022 yes, If i choose an option it will clear the queued songs and play or add the song next. However, everytime I change/skip a song from the my phone i would have to go back to the pc and select an option.

Luke 42086 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 OK, this will be improved in the upcoming Emby Server 4.7 release. Thanks.
cul8rmom1 5 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I dont know if this is applicable but I have had some similarly strange issues. I uninstall and reinstall the app on whatever device and some of the strange things stop happening. Even if its the same version.
