Metadata Issue

Lost some of my metadata folder... unrecoverable, no big deal.  Trying to re-build metadata and it fills in everything but the Primary cover image.  I force Refresh Metadata on an item and get this:

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path '/media/metadata/metadata/library/61/61426dc7f35740e19a5d8df3d82470b8/folder.jpg'.

It never rebuilds the Primary image unless I manually go in to Edit Images > download under Primary > choose a cover so this means my metadata folder is accessible and writeable.  This is way too time consuming for all missing items.  What am I missing?

I had this and ran chmod -R 777 on the emby folders then refreshed and it worked along with solving some other issues.

Thanks.  I know the folder is mounted as 777 but will retry to be sure.  I'm stumped on this one.

Does this file exist?

No.  But Emby never recreates this file no matter what.  '/media/metadata/metadata/library/' does exist and is accessible to Emby.

Was it never there to begin with, or was it there and something deleted it? That's what we don't know yet, since this is something that happened in the past, there isn't really any way to know.

But the server is trying to read that file, which means it thinks it should be there, and therefore suggests that it did successfully save there at some point, but then was deleted later.

Please note, if you manually tamper with the contents of the server's metadata folder, then you need to run the scan metadata folder scheduled task afterwards in order to make it aware of the changes. You don't need to do this following changes that you make in the Emby UI, only when you tamper with the folders directly in the file system.

It was there and then I or some action unrelated to Emby deleted some portions of metadata including this file.  I've ran the Scan Metadata Folder task but still with same results - it looks for this file that does not exist.

Do you know what item that belongs to?

Not definitively but it appears when Refreshing Metadata for a certain show so presumptively, yes.  Refreh Metadata > Replace Existing Images never fills in this image (Primary)

Refreshed '68 Whiskey' and this is what images it puts in.  Logs attached as well.

How did you determine that it's related to this item?

When I refresh metadata for this show you can see the line in the log at the same exact time.

It also doesn't matter which show. 1000's won't add a Primary image.  How do I get this corrected when it's been a week with no actual help?

Thanks again for not caring to fix the issue. Usual Luke fashion.
