1971camaroguy 32 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Just curious, I have unraid set up and emby in a docker and it's taking soooo long to generate the artwork. I think I have had this running for three-four days now and my cover images are hit and miss. I've stripped down scanning to not grab preview thumbnails, and keep it quick and simple...still no luck. It's about 1,000 folders so maybe that's the holdup. I navigated to smb://nasferatu/Movies/Action and set that as my folder path for my action movies Where nasfertau is my sevrer name and the share I created is called movies and folder is action This is my first stab at unraid, or any kind of linux flavor so i could be doing something wrong Any ideas? I can pull a log if needed Thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Hi, what cover images exactly are hit and miss? Are these images in your media folders or are they being newly downloaded?
1971camaroguy 32 Posted January 4, 2022 Author Posted January 4, 2022 I had poster images in the folders, but I removed them to try and force a redownload from fanart.tv prior to adding this folder. All other art (backdrops, ect) are still there. I have it set to store art in media folders, I attached a screenshot of what it looks like...the only other thing is I have cover art enabled But it's been stuck on what you see here for a while now. And I still have other media folders to add (comedy, horror, ect) and didn't want to add them if it's going to make it worse.
Luke 42078 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 If the item has already been scanned, then just removing an image by itself will not make the server download a new one. Try refreshing the metadata on one of those titles.
1971camaroguy 32 Posted January 10, 2022 Author Posted January 10, 2022 I've got it sorted, I used my copy of media center master to run a new scan on my action folder to grab missing poster art...and re-added my action library....it's all showing up now
