Mi Box S DTS Audio issue

i bought a mi box s recently to replace my old streamer and installed emby as the media server

since that i've had a small problem with the audio pass-thru option in the playback settings

when the audio is set to auto in the mi box the Audio options appear in the emby playback settings and audio gets passed to my reciver Denon avr-1911

but only Dolby Audio

when i try to start a movie with DTS or DTS-HD the player just crashes back to the movie play screen

when i change the audio options in my mi box to manual DTS suddenly plays but again not DTS-HD, and if i restart my mi box the Audio Options in playback settings go away and no audio gets passed untill i change the mi box Audio setting back to Auto

this problem is fixed if i use an external player like vlc which passes through every audio codec to my reciver no problem but i would still like to use the emby player

i hope this is somewhat understandable english is not my first language

The mi box is connected via hdmi to my reciver and the reciver is connected to the tv

sorry for not posting yesterday had a busy day didnt have any time to use the tv

i tried enabled the debug option and then went to the play a file with a dts sound track but i there was no option to send a log from the playback screen because the video wont play at all

i made a little video and uploaded it to youtube so you can better undestand what im talking about

if i disable dts and dts hd pass-thru in the playback option the video will play but with stereo sound only

Hi.  You can send the log from the home screen user menu after causing that playback failure.

Thanks.

Can I please see the server log that goes with that app log?

Thanks.

Is the client in a different time zone from the server?  That server log ends several hours before this app log.

Can you please re-enable these options and then see if the item plays?

User policy for Daniel. EnablePlaybackRemuxing: False EnableVideoPlaybackTranscoding: False EnableAudioPlaybackTranscoding: False

yes  actually i just noticed its set to a different time zone to utc -8 and the app is set to utc -2 where i live

i re enabled the options and tired streaming again this time the video worked but the server transcoded dts to dolby saying direct play error

i send a log from the playback now instead of the app menu

these are the updated logs if it helps in any way

The system is reporting support for DTS but it isn't working.  The audio chain is throwing a "not implemented" error.  Do you have the Android level audio option on "Auto" or have you manually set it to indicate which formats are supported?

When you allow remuxing/transcoding, the system recovers from the above error.  The complete playback failure you had was due to the options you disabled (see the text below those options).

The Audio in android is set on auto

when i change it to manual emby does play dts but dts-hd is being played as stereo

but the problem with that is when i restart the mi box or plug it off the audio option in the emby playback settings goes away and it stops passing through all audio untill i change the audio in the android settings back to auto

again vlc and any other external player plays all dts codecs prefectly fine
