MadVR supports this on Windows and has for years but apparently MPV was better for Emby. the tv and android apps support this. 3 1

There are loads of topics on the forums regarding problems that many users have faced and the overwhelming response is to make sure they're using the emby theater x86 program rather than the Windows store app. If all goes well and it's hunky dory then great, but it's worrisome to only have the store option.
