Launch Android TV App From M3U8 Feeding Guide

I have built a custom M3U8 file that adds channels to the guide for the various live channels on streaming services (CTV, Global, Crave, Prime).  When I click on the link in the guide, I would like it to launch the appropriate app based upon the URL in the M3U8 file.  I have found the following article that explains how to do this, well sort of: https://developer.android.com/training/app-links.

My problem is I have no idea how to format the URL and I can't find an example of it.  I know this is possible as JustWatch does this, and in fact with Prime and Disney+ it even plays the exact episode within the app.  This doesn't work with Crave or CTV, it just launches the app to the home screen, so I'm assuming there is no way to pass the episode information via the URL for those 2 apps.

So does anybody know what the URL for Prime, Crave, CTV, Global apps are?  If not does anybody know where to find the info, have an example of a working URL for anything?

Hi.  There is no way for you to do this at this time in Emby.

The biggest issue for supporting something like this is that it will only work on an Android device that is properly configured with the appropriate apps - so that makes it difficult to support in our Live TV which works across multiple devices and systems.

That's too bad.  I'm not sure why you'd be concerned about "supporting something like this" as that if somebody is going to go to the effort to figure out how to manually create an M38U file and do this they are going way beyond what regular support would deal with.  i.e. using the application in ways the developers never intended.  I do understand your point.  I was just hoping I could use existing functionality in Android and Emby to get this working without having to build an intermediary app to proxy the command.
