record to libraries

I am new to Emby, coming from Plex, coming fom MythTV.  In both Plex and MythTV, I was able to set recordings to record in a library location.  Kids shows get recorded to the disk/drive/mount that holds the kids shows, other shows/movies get recorded to their appropriate location.

I have set up the default recording/series/movies location, and have taken a look at autoarrange, but can't figure out to set a recording/series/movie to record to a library location.

It looks like I have to manually move the files once the recordings are finished. 

Also, when setting up recordings, does the option "Don't record episodes  that are already in my library" scan all the libraries or just the episodes found in the default locations?

Searching the forums and the internet do not yield any relevant results.

My Emby install is hosted on ubuntu 20.04 using docker-compose 2.2.2

Am I missing something, or is this feature/option missing?

@theaudcouple how have you configured the dvr recording paths in dvr settings? How have you setup your emby libraries?

I have set up the one available dvr recording path in Emby.  I have my libraries setup with different names and pointed to the folders containing the media, kids shows library pointing to a folder on a mount point containing kids shows,  scifi library pointing to a folder on a mount point containing scifi shows, etc.

It doesn't seem Emby has the ability to recorder to more than one location per type, there is only one option for shows, one option for movies, one option for default.

I am used to having all my libraries available as a option to record to, when I schedule scifi, I can select I want it to record to the library location I set up for scifi, same with any other show/movie.

Thanks Luke, nice to know it is on the map.  Would this be a relatively quick implementation, or something that requires years to make happen?

well its been 4 years since this was originally requested so i'd probably lean towards the latter...
