DirectStream and no sound

Files with DTS audio tracks are doing DirectStream instead of DirectPlay and I get no sound out of them on an iphone 13 with iOS 15.

First, on the issue of DirectPlay vs DirectStream, Emby dashboard tells me it is because of an incompatible container:

The media is compatible with the device regarding resolution and media type (H.264, AC3, etc.), but is in an incompatible file container (.mkv, .avi, .wmv, etc.). The video will be re-packaged on the fly before streaming it to the device.

But the container is MKV and other MKV files DirectPlay just fine.

There I see TranscodeReasons=AudioCodecNotSupported, is this accurate? And why is then the audio stream copied and not transcoded? Basically I want to know how can I determine the reason this is DirectStream and not DirectPlay.

Aside form this, then I hear no audio on the iPhone. Any ideas?
