Alefielm 7 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Hi, Im having this issue, go into, in this case 4K HVEC HDR10 movie with multiple audio tracks and subtitle tracks (PGSSUB and SRT). I select English and SRT. Refresh the page, and it goes back to the first (default) track, so it's casting the same (with some errors because of the PGSSUB I think). Emby version 4.6.7.0 Any idea? Thanks!

If the item is unplayed, it'll go back to settings according your preferences. In order for selection (that differs from preferred) to "stick", item has to be played, few seconds should suffice.
Alefielm 7 Posted December 28, 2021 Author Posted December 28, 2021 Because I want to left it configured for the time I going to watch it. Ok, have another problem...it doesn't play local with any configuration embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-7ce798a8-cf96-48e8-aace-0bb581791d9f_1.txt

The selections are only saved once you start playing.

It has to do this because Firefox does not support hevc. You may want to consider playing with an Emby app that can direct play the content, such as our android, iOS or windows apps.

That's why I'm using Roku, tried FF local...and same result :(, let's continue on the roku Thread then thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I also forgot to mention that if you lower the quality setting in the web app so that the server transcodes to a lower resolution, then you might be able to find a value where your server machine is fast enough to handle it. Just be careful to put the option back to Auto so that it's not causing unnecessary transcoding in other cases where it's not needed.
