Then that is most likely the problem as that shows that the device does not trust the cert.  The next release of the app (and current beta) should solve this for you.

Okay, I just checked again and noticed I had "ssl required" still activated when switching to HTTP port option.
So yes, it seem to work without SSL enabled.

Any ETA on the new beta release?

The beta that allows this is available now.  I cannot say when it will be released but we should be close to the end of this cycle (and then we're at the mercy of the stores).
