SSL and Emby Connect

I've setup Emby to use SSL via NO IP.

The emby android app via existing settings connects and I can manually type in the url and new port and it connects.

I was wondering if I was to allow someone to connect thru Emby connect, would that connection be using SSL or do they have to manually add the url and port?

I'm 99.9% sure that Emby Connect will utilize the HTTPS port you've got set up. Someone way smarter than me can confirm, but I believe that's how it works.

It uses the remote address that is displayed on the front page of the emby server dashboard, which will be https depending on server settings.
