Library Recovery

Hi guys,

I recently lost one of my USB external storage drives.  Unfortunately, due to its age, usage and condition, it has given up the ghost.  My little server no longer recognizes that the drive is even attached.  I have tried every means at my disposal, INCLUDING "licensed" recovery software to recover ANY kind of info from it, without success.  Outside of sending it back to the manufacturer for an expensive attempt at recovering any data from it, there is nothing more that can be done to recover anything from it.  Now, that's OK, I've made my peace with it, the drive being 7 years old and having been running 24/7 for most of those 7 years, owes me nothing.

I was wondering if there is any possibility however, of recovering the list of what it did contain from EMBY libraries or data files or something.  I can find and re-rip the content, that not being a problem, but was wondering if anyone knew where in EMBY's files I might be able to see what ***WAS*** on the drive???

Thanks again guys for any information you can share, or any guidance you can provide!!!

Gerry

LONG LIVE EMBY!!!

Have you scanned your library since HDD failure happened?

Edit: To clarify, if you haven't, those paths will still be in db, you can either use Reports plugin or a db editor to list them. If you have, I would assume db has already been purged and them not being available any more.
