Daniel30 0 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) For some reason when I play something on my pc or phone it loads in less than 2 sec however, when I play something on either one of my fire sticks (on the same wifi) it can take a few minutes to start playing. My server is hosted in OVH cloud using a reverse proxy, and yes all my devices are using 5G wifi. Server specs: ubuntu, 2 core, 4gb ram, 500mb bandwidth, caddy https reverse proxy ffmpeg-remux-2cf4444b-4d1b-4239-aa60-f9621a830252_1.txt Edited December 24, 2021 by Daniel30 add info
ebr 16182 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 Hi. Do you use CloudFlare? If so, disable it's caching and see if that solves the problem.
ebr 16182 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Any other sort of caching going on? Exactly when is this delay?
Daniel30 0 Posted December 25, 2021 Author Posted December 25, 2021 Don't believe so, it is every time I attempt to stream from a fire stick. I have tried to set bitrate to 5mb but didn't make a difference.
Luke 42078 Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Hi, can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and let us know how that compares? https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks !
Daniel30 0 Posted December 26, 2021 Author Posted December 26, 2021 Okay so I installed this, and it definitely fixed long loading times however, I might just be nit-picky but the gui is quite choppy when browsing through movies with the apk version. I can probably deal with this but, are there any other solutions?
Luke 42078 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Quote quite choppy when browsing through movies We are working on improving this. Thanks for the feedback.
