I need to know if there is any way to enable software-only decoding in emby on android tv9.
I use emby on a mii box S and I have to play movies on an external player to the emby, because some movies are shredding if I use the built-in player. I noticed that the problem is related to the hardware decoder, because even in an external player, I need to enable software decoding. But I didn't find this option in the emby player. Using software decoding everything is normal.

Olá, vamos ver um exemplo. Anexe as informações solicitadas em  como relatar um problema de reprodução de mídia  e também pode reproduzir esse item por alguns segundos e, em seguida,  seguir as instruções para enviar um log do aplicativo .

 Obrigado!

Okay. I don't have access to the server. I'm just using the client app for android TV 9 running on a mii box S.
Specifically on the mii box, even using external players, it only runs if you use software acceleration. If you use hardware acceleration, the video looks like it's frame by frame. I would like to use the default Emby player as it is faster and more complete.
The problem I believe is not in the emby, but in the Mii Box, because on a 2021 fire stick it runs perfectly.
So I would just like to know if there is a way to disable hardware acceleration of Emby's default player. By doing this, my problem will apparently be solved.

Hi, not currently, but the app will automatically switch in the event the hardware decoder throws an error.

By Google Tradutor.....

ok.  But I have problems with the native player running as a client on the Emby Android TV on the Mii Box S from xiaomi.  Is weird.  Using other players, if you leave HW active, the same happens.  In them, if you set SW, it works normally.  Another weird thing, it's not in all movies.  Only in some that this happens.

I've already contacted the support of the server I subscribe to, but they didn't help me at all.  I'm very sad about this situation that I can't solve.

OK yes options for software decoding are certainly possible for future updates. Thanks.

Hi! I came with the same problem, but apparently I need to wait a bit until the software is updated and maybe it will be fixed... thanks 🤔Andersen
