Wesss 0 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) Bumping this - maybe there are other threads but this is the most recent one I found. I'm on FreeBSD 12, running Emby 4.6.4 (latest package according to my system), and have 250GB (and growing until it uses the full 1TB) transcoding-temp/ 250G Dec 15 08:33 a75833b04cdc4398a23dc48b67a3ecac.ts No transcoding should be taking place. No one is connected to the server, nothing is recording, etc. Has this been fixed in newer versions that I can't install yet? Edited December 15, 2021 by Wesss
Luke 42082 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 hi @Wesss let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !
Bill LeDuc 5 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Why is this still an issue? Enough people have complained. My Emby Windows server (v.4.6.7.0) just ran out of space again with 20gb transcode files. The idea that someone has to write a Powershell script to cleanup an Emby mess is ludicrous.

Hi, this will be improved in the upcoming 4.7 server release. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 And low disk space cleanup in 4.7. Clean HLS segments during playback when disk space is low
