Q-Droid 989 Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 CW is my primary way to cycle thru TV series and episodes. It works great except for one thing - if I delete the episode after I watch it then the next episode doesn't queue up in CW. I have to keep the watched episode for the next one to show. If I delete the watched episode later the one shown in CW is removed from the queue. Is this by design? 1
Luke 42086 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Hi, it's not by design. It's something we plan to improve in future updates thanks.

It presents the next item in sequence after the last watched item. If Luke is saying "it's not by design", I don't know why, as this is how it's always been, from day 1 of MediaBrowser3. For reference, the new version of CW is currently broken in the latest beta release. Legacy Next Up/Continue Watching still works fine.

In my experience if I delete media after it's been watched and restore it later, even months later, it shows up with the watch status it had when I removed it. I'm guessing individual user watch history is kept somewhere independent of the media data.

Q-Droid 989 Posted December 15, 2021 Author Posted December 15, 2021 Cool. I asked if by design because I don't know the details of CW evolution though I do know that NU/CW have spawned some lively debates. Trying to not trigger anyone...
